Monday, Monday!
Pretty good day, especially for a Monday!
We started the day ushering Jazlyn to preschool - "P" day, and although Peyton wanted to be her item, Jazlyn opted to go get a pineapple instead. We picked up one of Jazlyn's friends and took him home with us after preschool......played a little here, then went to the park before taking him home in time for lunch. Was so cute, he didn't want to go home because his parents are remodeling their bathroom, which means something else is getting more attention than him. As we were leaving the park, he was sobbing "But I can't just go home and do nothing! If I go home, Mom and Dad will make me take a nap!!!" lol..........ahhhh, those were the days!
The bulk of my day was consumed by this:
That's right, I finally start the tiles (nothing like procrastinating, eh?). This was the first batch.....it really wasn't all that bad, the worst part was cutting out all the emblems. I wanted them to get a good drying overnight before I packaged them up, so I'll finish that up in the morning then deliver what I've got finished to Dr in the morning. No clue how long these will last him, but I hope it's at least a good 3 months.
While the house was airing out from the spray sealant I sprayed on the tiles, we went for a walk at Pioneer Park. So much easier to push the double stroller on the flat sidewalk than the sloping street!!! While we were doing our laps I sighted several good places to take pics. Hopefully I'll be able to store those ideas and take them when things are a little greener.
I love this time change!!! It was so nice to still have some light at 7pm! I'm ready to do some grilling and have potato salad! Maybe later this week..........the preparations are beginning for us to travel to TX for my brother-in-law's wedding........oil is changed, got new wipers, scheduled the front end alignment (badly needed after driving around with all those ice ruts!)........gotta schedule my pedicure for next week (finally using my gift certificate from Christmas!!!).......so much to think about. I guess that's about all I have for the day!
