Sat's Haps
Well, last night was interesting! I admit that I was nervous, feeling a little unqualified to judge the pianists, but all turned out well. It was hard to rank them knowing what it feels like to not place as high as you thought you should. Peyton was the official music-hander-outer, lol. He did a great job, and was even asked to come to the stage and bow at the end!
This morning Peyton has Exploring 4H. They made little stoplight snacks and played red light green light. Here's his cute little snack - graham crackers, peanut butter, and M&M's.....
The kids are enjoying the nice weather we've been having. They played outside this morning until lunch, and all they could say during lunch was that this was the best day of their lives! hehe........They went out again after lunch, but the fun ended with Peyton coming in and telling us "There's been an accident!"........Oh great, another ER visit........He had decided to throw a stick at his sister and it hit her in the cheek, pushing her upper lip into her teeth and making a cut. Fortunately it wasn't bad enough to get seen.......but she does have a bit of a fat lip, which we're using to get plenty of attention :)
This evening the family enjoyed supper out at the Boy Scout's annual chili feed. We hadn't been before, but when Mike called and said he had 3 tickets and Jazlyn was free, I wasn't about to pass it up! It was quite yummy!
