This week's memory verse:

Eph 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Hey! Hope everyone had a super Thanksgiving and is all ready to hit the Christmas season!!! Here's the run down of happenings here the last couple weeks!

Saturday the 17th was the opening of the Christmas season here! During the day was the annual Craft Fair which was fun to go through and see all the goodies! In the afternoon was the Christmas parade...........Mike led it this year.......

Dean and Donna Fenner on their bike in the parade (had to get Donna, she's always taking pictures of everyone else, hehe)

Peyton was in the parade on the Sunflower 4H float.......

And afterward everyone was invited to meet Santa at the GAC for visits, cookies, and pictures. A representative from the local newspaper was there and snapped a picture of Peyton and Jazlyn. They made the front page even!!! You'll have to click on the picture (to enlarge it) and read the portion of the article that's there ....... you'll find out where Brylie is during the picture, hehe.........
The next day, the 18th, was Mike's 30th birthday!!! I wasn't too mean, but I had to do SOMETHING! Dad came up to the house about 5am and put up these posters for me........we got a chuckle (as did the kids) everytime someone honked, hehe..........Then we went to church where many people were dressed in black in the mourning of the passing of his youth, and our friend Kara Smith got up and said a few words about that :)

Tuesday at school Peyton and the other 2nd graders had a "feast" of a fruit salad to which they all contributed. Of course they had to dress up as pilgrims (or programs as Jazlyn calls them, lol) and indians! Doesn't seem like it was THAT long ago and *I* was dressing up for the feast! hehe

Before the could dig in though, they each got 5 kernels of (candy) corn and listened to a neat story about how that's all the pilgrims got their first Thanksgiving.

Brylie's been busy of course too.........someone left the door to the refrigerator slightly open and she flung it open and began cleaning out the shelves.......boy howdy was she sure proud of herself!!!

Thanksgiving day was so nice! We gathered at "White Grandma's" as is the tradition in the Imhof side of the family. I always enjoy seeing those that we don't get to visit with throughout the year (or for several years as was the case this year). Peyton and Jazlyn always look forward to playing with their cousins, and that makes me so happy! I don't remember spending time with my mom's cousin's kids, so this is new and special for me :) Grandma had 8 great grandchildren home for Thanksgiving!

Friday Mike, Peyton, and the guys on the Fenner side of the family all went hunting.......Peyton of course was thrilled since it's not something he gets to do every day!

This past Sunday evening the church had a hanging of the greens service and chili supper. We all gathered for some readings and music and then worked together to decorate the church. Let me tell you, it was much more enjoyable this way than having the small committee do it! Whew! The kids all helped too.........

Peyton and Jazlyn lit the candles on the Communion Table.......

I think Mike was the only one tall enough to help hang the wreaths...........

Jazlyn helped sort through the garland......

Brylie hung out with Emma, which was a huge help to me, and made Emma's day........

Peyton helped Grandma Debbie (and others) decorate the tree at the back of the sanctuary.......

Oh, and did anyone notice that THE RAIDERS WON!!!!!!!!! WAHOO!!! hehe

I've got more pictures, but I've got to run for now.........check back!
