This week's memory verse:

Eph 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

It has definately been a busy couple of weeks here!

Sat the 8th was my birthday, and the day was spent, well, bailing out sewage from the tub. Sounds like a great way to celebrate right? lol........after trying and trying to fix the problem, and dad sending his plumbers tape through, we determined we needed to call a plumber. He came the following Monday and was able to clear out the tree roots, but also discovered that we have a bad spot in one of the pipes. We'll be fine until spring at least -- not looking forward to that bill!!!

The next week, Peyton was ill on Monday so he stayed home, Tuesday and Wednesday ended up being snow days, so I took advantage of the time inside, stayed in my pj's, and cooked my little heart out! 3+ candy trays later:

This tray is for the police dept/dispatchers and contained Chocolate Chip Meringues, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Truffles, Caramel Chocolate Pretzel Rods, and Fudge! Other trays also had Sugared Peanuts as well.

I was tired then of being in the kitchen, but I still had to make treats for Jazlyn's party at school:
(sorry, didn't get that one rotated)

and do some cooking for the weekend (the Fenner Christmas celebration)

We finally got the stockings hung up too:
Brylie is becoming quite the little climber, and often finds herself in things she can't get out of. I thought this was quite cute though :)
And Brylie helped herself to some truffles off of the table -- let me tell you, she was darned proud of herself! hehe And not the least bit remorseful!

Friday night we opened gifts with the Fenner side of the family and had supper! The kids of course were anxious, and we all had a great time!

Brylie hangin out with Granny, waiting for the festivities to start:

Uncle Marc told a restless, anxious Peyton to count to 304 while everyone was finishing up supper and getting ready to open gifts:

Jazlyn and Grandma Great -- thought this turned out really sweet:)

Hmmmm, wonder if we had enough food? And this was just one counter -- the other side had a roaster full of soup and more goodies!

Brylie of course had to be a clown and be the center of attention:

Peyton opening his new Garth CD! He was so excited -- been scoping it out at the store since it was released! Let me tell ya, I'm tired of hearing it already -- plays one CD in his room, the DVD is going in the family room, and the other CD plays in the van, lol........

Jazlyn showing everyone her sparkly new jeans from Granny and Papa:

Brylie peeking around the corner at everyone:

Peyton opening gifts with Daddy and Grandma Great:

Brylie showing off her new dress from Granny and Papa:

Jazlyn, Brylie, and Lexi modeling their new dresses:

Cory modeling, well, the bows? lol :

All of the kids (except Brylie of course) got new Bibles for Christmas........Lexi and Jazlyn were intently looking theirs over:

Brylie was showing off for Aunt LaShawn:

Saturday Peyton had 4H Cooking and the kids had practice for the program, then the kids and Granny went to the movie in the afternoon, and later that evening Granny and Papa babysat the kids while we all had Christmas parties to attend.

Sunday was the Christmas pageant at church. This year the story was shared as letters from the kids to different people in the Christmas story - Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the angels, and baby Jesus. Both Peyton and Jazlyn had speaking parts this year, and they both did wonderfully!

Then all of the kids came together to sing Away in a Manger:

Sunday was also fellowship potluck dinner, and Peyton made his banana pudding (learned at 4H). Sunday afternoon they had their club Christmas party, consisting of caroling (a new concept for Peyton, lol) and pizza!

That's enough for now, more pictures later this week!
