Brylie's 10 months old! ....and a scrapbook page.....

Can't believe I'm going to have to start thinking about a birthday party for Brylie in a couple of months! Time just goes too darned fast!

Today is her 10 month birthday! We went out and took a couple of pictures this morning.....here are my two favorites!


I had her weighed and measured on Monday, and she's now 27 1/2" long (25th percentile) and weighes 21 lbs 2 oz (75th percentile)........

She's just getting busier and busier!!! Literally if she's in a good mood, she's doing something ALL THE TIME!!! She's figured out how to push the button on the computer to get the cd drive to open, and then get the cd out!.........little stinker!

Her being allergic to rice as been interesting. Didn't even think about it when we were trying to get her to work on her pincer grasp and got her some of those cereal puffs.......first ingredient......rice flour! No rice crispies........thankfully cheerios has no rice products! She a meat and potatoes gal though -- loves bbq beef! She'll scarf down two helpings of spaghetti when we have it too........and she can *smell* when you've had something good to eat..........

Still not crawling just yet.........can get up on her hands and knees and then looks around as to say "Now what do I do?" hehe........scoots backwards, but that really frustrates her, mostly because she gets stuck under some piece of furniture. I wonder if she'll pull up to a stand before she crawls.......if she's sitting on my lap she'll pull up on my shirt to nearly a stand. She was pulling up and peeking over the back of the pew at Peyton in church last week -- course it was right in the middle of the silent prayer and he got so tickled he couldn't quit giggling! lol.........

Speaking of church, when we sing if I sing to her, she sings/yells at about the same volume or louder, lol.

She's figured out the clapping thing, although she still prefers for you to grab her hands and do pat-a-cake instead of doing it herself. Clicking her tongue is a new thing this month too!

Still very much enjoys her little jumper thing, and get right with it sometimes! Really enjoys playing her little piano while she's in there too (gotta get 'em hooked early, hehe).

She is NOT happy when momma leaves her..........if I leave her for a couple hours, she won't let me out of her sight for a couple days...........such a momma's girl!

Brylie still loves to play with paper, but we have to keep a VERY close eye on her when she does, as she demolishes it and tries to eat it pretty quickly!

On the same lines.........she bites the carpet!!! Only (thankfully) at mom and dad's, she'll roll over to her tummy and bite and pull up! You can hear her teeth snap off of it! lol.........She discovered this last week while my grandparents were in town, and it kinda freaked my grandma out! lol.........Most of the time I have to go pick her up, cause she'll do it till she has rug burn on her little face, silly nut!
Hasn't got a third tooth yet, although I think it'll show up just about any day. She likes to click her fingernails on the two she does have though!

In other news..........


Swimming lessons are done. Peyton didn't pass, but he has made so much progress this year!!! It's like he's a whole different kid! Glad he's starting to enjoy it though............

Peyton has improved so much in Level 3 swimming lessons! He's no long afraid of the deep end and actually enjoys going down there to tread water, dive, or jump off the board. His back crawl is effortless now! Even though he didn't pass, we're extremely proud of him for the improvements he's made!
