This week's memory verse:

Eph 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

WOW!!!! I didn't realize I'd neglected the blog so bad!!! EEEK!!!

It's been a very very busy week and a half here at the Fenner household!

Last week was the county fair, and with Peyton being in 4H, that translates to lots of time and energy spent at the fairgrounds!

We were literally there EVERYDAY for something! Festivities began on Sat the 28th with the parade down Main Street! The fair theme this year was The Good 'Ole Days........thus the retro theme for Peyton's 4H Club's float:

Can you see him? LOL.........barely sticking out past the sign? He had a ball throwing candy!

After that we had supper with Granny and Papa (Mike's parents) here and then headed to the fairgrounds to play some games:

We all had fun despite the rain! Luckily the games were all covered, so we could still enjoy them!

Sunday (29th) Peyton played his first piano solo in church. We wasn't really nervous about doing it, he was nervous that he would mess up..........but after reassuring him that we all mess up (even Grandma, who is the church organist), he felt a little better. He played it perfectly, and took a big bow at the end! We're so proud of him!!! Check out the video!

The rest of Sunday was spent finishing up Peyton's project, getting it ready for entry on Monday morning. He made a game that he titled "Swim With the Fish". I saw the idea to use a bulliten board for the base and such in an issue of Pack-O-Fun. Although he got a little frustrated that I would make him go back and paint spots that he missed, he did it, not wanting to enter something that looked "icky."
For 4H, when they enter a project, they are interviewed about that project upon entering. He did very well with his interview, and it helped that he knew the interviewer! She gave him a blue ribbon, and he's quite proud :)

Jazlyn also had an entry this year. She made a butterfly decoration from a stone paver and fun foam. She couldn't wait to make him colorful!
Jazlyn got a blue ribbon as well, and is also very proud :)

Here are some misc pictures from riding rides:

Jazlyn PROMISED Peyton she would ride the ferris wheel with him.......It didn't last long and she was asking to get off! BUT, she kept her promise!! hehe

One of the things the kids love is the fishing hole.......they get to fish for real catfish! Jazlyn got bored really quick though :)

And Brylie, well, she was bored most of the week, lol:
Jazlyn made friends with a little girl that happens to be the great-granddaughter of some friends of Grandma Great's. They had a ball!!! Was so cute! They just *had* to ride some rides together! hehe

Peyton was also in the pedal tractor pull! He got fourth place in his age category. We decided next year we'll ask for the older kids' tractor, as his legs are simply too long to work the little one very well! hehe
Anyway, busy, busy, busy!!!

Brylie's continuing to be quite the nut! She started making this face the other night while Mike was getting ready for work...........we figured out that she was imitating Mike when he was brushing his teeth!!! hehe

This week has been a little calmer thank goodness. Mike had a check-up today, he's now down 12 pounds, and, this is the best part, his blood pressure (bottom number) was down 20 POINTS!!!! That's A LOT!!!

Tomorrow we go to enroll Peyton in school. It's become quite evident that I just can't do it all anymore, and he is dying for more interaction. While I still strongly believe that homeschool is the best way, I simply don't have the ability to do it anymore :( This has been a REALLY REALLY hard decision for me............I'm never going to make it when they graduate!!!

Anyway, that's all I have the energy for right now, lol...........I'll catch ya all later!!!
