This week's memory verse:

Eph 4:32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Well, it's been another dramatic day at our house (actually weekend).

Backing up a bit -- last Tuesday evening Brylie started complaining that her hands hurt. We thought maybe she just poked them on something, etc. By Thursday, it had creeped up her arms and they were hurting. By Saturday her feet were hurting to the point of screams and crying for a few hours. By Sunday she was complaining about her legs, and by this morning she was screaming and crying about her arms as well as her feet. This whole time we gave her Tylenol and Motrin, with no help at all. The only thing that had helped was some arthritis cream.

So this morning I called to get her an appt with the Dr, and we got in mid afternoon. The nurse practitioner we saw had no clue, and was completely puzzled, so she consulted with our regular Dr, who was equally puzzled.........the symptoms weren't there all the time, there's no rash, nothing to see........crazy. So they ordered a load of blood and urine tests. After three pokes and lots of prodding (horrid) we got the blood drawn.

The nurse practitioner called us back this evening -- they had gotten most of the blood tests back and she had consulted with the Dr. They both agreed that it was some sort of virus, one they hadn't seen before, and that her levels of CPK were elevated, which proves that she is indeed in pain. We'll wait for the remainder of the tests to come back to reiterate that (she's got the Wee Bag on as I type, and hating it, lol). They think she'll be over it in a week and then we have to retest to double check her levels of everything. What a crazy thing -- over the weekend all we could speculate was that it was a type of neuropathy or a syndrome of some sorts (both of which could be life long). What a relief!!! Thank you everyone who has been praying for her! We will continue to use the cream to manage her pain when need be, and of course go back to the office if she gets worse.

I am so tired.............literally tired..........tired of viruses and infections and bugs..............I'm just tired.........lol............
